For many years, my love of baking supported fundraising events at our school through the sale of countless cookies and over a thousand loaves of my cinnamon bread. My heart couldn’t help but find a way to also bless my dear friends’ son through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by making thousands more loaves on his behalf and donating the money for CF research. I hope my humble prayers and financial contribution have made a miniscule dent in finding a cure for him and those similarly diagnosed. Blessing others is innate to my nature, which is why my baking uses only the highest quality ingredients (organic whenever possible), as, after all, that is what makes everything taste so good! I love that caring has a ripple effect - my customers keep coming back over and over again and recommend me to their friends. So many stories featuring my popular cinnamon bread have been shared with me over the years. They include long lost friends reuniting over a loaf of cinnamon bread, schoolboys on a play date sharing a loaf in the treetops, a Boy Scout Troop using a few loaves for a group French Toast breakfast (apparently the ultimate!), loaves coveted in the remotest parts of countless freezers to be enjoyed in a much-needed peaceful moment with a cup of tea, Thanksgiving tables adorned with loaves for all to share, and employees yearning for their holiday loaf each year.
